ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to reveal the importance of infrastructure on economic development. The performance and development of infrastructure is mainly a reflection of the performance of the economy. A thorough literature review observes the significance and impact of infrastructure on economic development, along with the case study of Bwari and Abuja and their policies regarding the infrastructure. The research is being analyzed on the basis of physical observation, literature analysis and the interviews, which are conducted from different heads and area managers. Critiques of other narratives are discussed as well as relevance of infrastructures' significance to economic development. Implications for infrastructure in relevance to economic development from other helping professionals are suggested.
