Introduction

Our world has developed into a global village where people from different nations, cast, religions, and creed, social and economic backgrounds live and survives together under a single umbrella. This social development has also changed the environment of educational systems of the world. Now there is a significant difference between classrooms in modern world of twenty first century and that of twentieth and nineteenth century. Students from different race, cultures, nations, speaking different languages get education under same teachers and management. Considering these factors teachers are now facing challenges and issues related to the management of classrooms. Classroom management is the essence of educational system and teachers play the role of main player in it. It is actually a method or series of steps to be followed in order to ensure that all activities in a class run in a very smooth way (Iqbal et.al, 2012). It is the responsibility of a teacher to provide an environment where students can achieve success in their academic life (Rosas et.al, 2009).

Classroom management plays a very important role in the academic efficiency and educational environment where teacher plays the part of the most important role. The attitude of the teacher and method of managing the class environment is very important. In a classroom students and teacher interact and communicate. If the teacher is able to manage the classroom environment in an efficient and positive way the environment of class remains positive and student's academic performance also enhances, also there establishes a feeling of trust between the teacher and student . Such an environment encourages a student to take interest in class activities and academics. On the other hand if the managing skills of teacher are not appropriate it creates negativity in the surroundings of class affecting the academic performance, moral and social environment and behavior of students. Students try to avoid classes and their efficiency decreases as a results. It becomes a hurdle for teachers to manage classrooms especially when they are not trained for it. According to the researches conducted it is revealed that teachers that are new to this profession are untrained to handle classrooms (Allen, 2010). However they try their best to pursue their duties in the most affective way. Teachers who can manage classroom in a proper way can overcome hurdles like negative attitude of students, misbehavior and discipline issues.
