Introduction

Justice is a highly complex term, which includes several different socio cultural components. Holistically it can be defined as a moral concept which includes the factors of ethics, ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, equity and fairness. An important attribute to consider regarding the components of justice, is that these complaints are dependent on the various attributes of the society. Factors such as ethics, rationality, religion or even concept of farness are not universal in nature. Rather these components are perceived in highly differentiated manner, throughout the various societies. Every society has different attributes and traditions which develop their perceptions regarding the concept of justice. Even though this concept can be identified as a relatively subjective entity, it is a core necessity of any functioning society. For human civilization to develop and progress, it must provide an adequate system of social infrastructure. This system would help the individuals make sense of their dally environments and also lead their lives in a suitable manner. The system of justice provides the masses with the confidence and eth right to live their life in a satisfied manner.

The sole purpose of the justice theories is to develop a social system, through which the individuals in a given society can function adequately. In the context of the contemporary global social environment, the phenomenon of globalization has helped develop a globally uniform type of justice theory (Konow, 2003). As the interaction between the global societies has started to enhance, the subjective elements in the justice theories have started to diminish. The primary objective of different justice theories is to ensure that the rights of the majority of the people are safeguarded, and they do not have to suffer injustice in the community. Without the adequate justice based infrastructures a given society cannot function in a highly effective manner, and the population would seek a better form of justice system.

As per the majority of the justice theories, the justice related infrastructure is a crucial component of any given society. This aspect allows the society to function in an effective manner and help safeguard the rights of the masses. John Rawls described Justice as the first and the primary virtue of any social institution. Justice has a connection with various moral and ethical ideologies, and it itself can be identified as a moral concept. The concept of justice also has deep spiritual and religious components, as the people believe that there is a form of divine justice as well. These acts and behaviors that individuals lead by in their current life have implication on their afterlife (Welsh, 2004). The significance of the concept of justice can be understood by the divine attribution developed by the global societies.
