Ian Mortimer, in his book “The Time Traveler's Guide to Medieval England: A Handbook for Visitors to the Fourteenth Century”, takes the reader to a fascinating journey to the England of the fourteenth centaury. The book has taken an entirely new perspective of history. Contrary to traditional, historical books, Ian endeavors to make the reader, rather than just studying the history, feel the real life circumstances prevailing in the England of fourteenth centaury. He has presumed a time machine which has journeyed us back to England and suddenly we are in the centre of medieval Europe.

Feeling and living in the medieval Europe is entirely different experience than just studying it from the text books.

As the title of the book suggests, it is a handbook for time travelers. The book opens up, and the reader found himself back to 14th centaury in one of the Medieval Societies.
