ABSTRACT

This study was aiming to analyze the fact that to what extent does the SPHE programme is contributing to the development of moral reasoning to adults in a community school. For this purpose, we had selected three different schools and conducted our qualitative study there. In our study, we had used two major tools to gather data, i.e. Interview and questionnaire. We can define morality as a fundamental and pervasive aspect of human functioning a multifaceted phenomenon which, of necessity, entails the interplay of behaviour, thought, and emotion and refers to voluntary actions that, at least potentially, have social and interpersonal implications. There are a number of factors that can have an effect on the process of moral development of a person. In a schooling programme like SPHE, the teacher can play a huge role in the development of a person. In our analysis of the primary data, we had discovered that the teachers in the SPHE programme are fulfilling their duty in a proper way.
