Introduction

TRIZ - Theory of Inventive Problem Solving was declared by its author, GS Altshuller as an alternative to the numerous and ineffective methods of activation of sorting options to "make the process of inventive problem solving in an exact science." What really is TRIZ? What are its real possibilities and prospects?

Overview of the Classical TRIZ

The theory of inventive problem solving appeared in the 60s in the USSR. TRIZ is a set of methods, united by a common theory. TRIZ helps to organize the thinking of the inventor in search of ideas of the invention, and makes the search more focused, productive, promotes the idea of ??finding a higher level of inventiveness. In TRIZ, as a main line for the first time was the study and use in the invention of the laws of technical systems (Webb, 2002).

The main tool of TRIZ is the algorithm of inventive problem solving (ARIZ). ARIZ is a series of sequential logical steps, which aim to identify and resolve the contradictions that exist in the technical system and hindering improvement. The development of ARIZ had a number of modifications. Practical applications of modifications were ARIZ-77 and ARIZ-85B.

TRIZ has a number of tools used to solve problems. These include:

Table resolves technical contradictions, which contradictions appear to be two conflicting settings. These parameters are selected from the list. For each combination of parameters is proposed to use several methods of removing the contradiction. Total 40 receptions. Methods are formulated and classified on the basis of statistical studies of inventions.

Standards for solving problems. Formulated standard problematic situations. To address these situations are offered standard solutions.

Vepolny (real field) analysis. Defined and classified possible connections between the components of technical systems. The regularities and formulated the principles of transformation for the solution of the problem. On the basis of the analysis were extended vepolnogo standards for solving problems.

A pointer to physical effects. We describe the most common physical effects for the invention and using them to solve inventive problems.

Methods of creative imagination. Use a number of techniques and methods to overcome the inertia of thinking in solving creative problems. Examples of such methods are method of little men, operator of PBC (Webb, 2002).

In the mid-80s of the last century theory of inventive problem solving began to train specialists in electrical engineering companies in the embedded method, where the functional cost analysis (FCA) (Ngassa and Truchot, 2002). However, due to the crisis of industrial production in Russia, followed by reforms of the early 90s, the use of PSA in the enterprises of the sector completely stopped. Turned out to be unclaimed and TRIZ.

TRIZ: Reality and Illusion

TRIZ was conceived "as an exact science." What really is TRIZ?

The apparent advantage of TRIZ is that it was an attempt to use for solving inventive problems dialectical approach associated with the identification and resolution of conflicts (Cavallucci, Lutz and Thiebaud, 2002). To this end, TRIZ was developed by a special algorithm (ARIZ), a sequence of logical procedures for submission of inventive problem solved in the form of conflicts and a number of recommendations for their resolution. In addition, books on TRIZ cited a large number of interesting examples and problems, which themselves had a greater cognitive ...
