Women and Beer

Introduction

The study is related to consumption of beer which particularly focuses on the women. This phenomenon is important to study as it can help the researchers and other government agencies to track the attitudes of women towards beer and other alcoholic drinks which can affect the health of women.

Hypothesis

H 1: There is a relationship between women consuming bear and income level.

H 2: There is a relationship between women consuming bear and age of women.

H 3: There is a relationship between women consuming bear and region.

H 4: There is a relationship between women consuming bear and marital status.

H 5: There is a relationship between women consuming bear and racial groups.

H 6: There is a relationship between women consuming bear and the education level.

Variables

The variables that are used in the study are mentioned below;

Income rage include 2000 to 3000, 3001 to 4000, 4001 to 5000 and 5001 to 7000

Age range from 21 to 30 years

Region, US and outside US

Marital status include single and married

Race that include white American and black American

Education level that include high school, college and university

Comparison of Alcohol Consumption between Men and Women

In comparison to men, years ago, women's addiction to alcohol was seen mainly in two ways that are as a housewife, no leaving your home and keeping it as a shameful secret, making it difficult to approach to therapeutic measures. In a society where women's issues are treated arbitrarily and discriminatorily at times as compare to men, their relationship to the world of alcoholism has very specific dimensions in context of wine, beer and spirits etc.

As a social relation, where women drank only engaged in certain professions which include women of high income group.Its social role is no longer the same, and the consumption patterns and behaviors of women have adapted to this change. As compared to men, currently women are matched in its ways to man, and within their addiction to alcoholic things that include beer, liquor and wine etc. becomes equated with male consumption patterns, without having to justify to anyone, although it still has a tendency to concealment or denial of problem (Powell, 12-34). The age of onset of drinking has nearly matched in both sexes, but the pattern of dependence is still higher in men.

Despite all these changes, alcoholic things that include beer, liquor and wine etc, which women acquire special connotations, given their special characteristics, which makes it different from that of men (Holt, 8-26). These differences, plus other facts, such as those produced by alcohol consumption in pregnant women and its impact on the fetus, make it convenient to study this condition independently.

In context of age, education, income level, ethnicity, marital status and region in United States, the constitutional type female, with a higher fat content and a lower proportion of water, is an aggravating factor in his addiction, since alcohol intake in the same quantity and quality that a man is affected in a more intense, taking greater predisposition to diseases related to alcohol consumption.
