The main purpose of this paper is to make an analysis on the future of women in science. Since the beginning of humanity, the role of women has been crucial to the success of our species. Its functions, social, have got enriched by the passage of the different stages of evolution.

As mentioned by Benjamin Rush, it was the discrimination between the black and white women that forced the women of U.S. to get educated. The black women were encouraged to get educated in order to survive.

Ida Freund always made negative arguments about the domestic science lessons. She said that it is not good to replace the science with the domestic science, because domestic science does not develop the analytical skills in students (Scott, 2010).
