Introduction

The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant material relating to the analysis of World civiliztion 1. Civilization is usually a contentious term and is used in different context. In fact, civilization generally reflects the material side that is always associated with human cultures, which are structured in hierarchy as well as mainly settled in urban areas. There is no doubt about the fact that Civilization can be seen as synonym for culture level. It is also a stage of social development, whereby information and religious culture develops. Apart from this, Civilization is also the set of features that characterize the evolutionary state of a given society, technical, intellectual, political and moral, without making value judgments. Whereby coming down to the criteria of a great civilization, it is noticed that all the civilization has experienced a fall and decline in their time where some decline occur slowly over time, and some are drastic and rapid. Historical events do not stop and it is a continuous uninterrupted as long as the human face of the earth and this is just like running water in the river continued. The times represent the historic civilization of production of the human mind and similar events are modeled on a tight one (Seignobos, 2012). In this paper, the author examine some important aspects of the origins of world civilization.

The earliest civilizations, meaning life in cities, only emerged about 5,000 years ago. The word civilization occupies a precarious place in Western vocabularies as a result of the term's association with progress, rationality, and colonialist ideologies of racial discrimination. Nevertheless, at its most basic level, a civilization refers to the process of becoming civilized as a consequence of individual cohabitating in cities. Such a definition reveals the apparent impact of social networks on civilized life, as it was precisely through agriculture, trade, war, language, religion, and cultural and technological initiatives that interdependent communities formed the basis of the earliest civilizations. Archaeological evidence suggests that such characteristics originated in several different regions of the ancient world, namely, Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, India, Mesoamerica, Greece, and Rome. Researchers believe that the age of Earth is nearly six billion where first humanized culture came into existence in Africa approximately 3 to 5 million years ago (Fernandez, 2012).

With the passage of time or one to two million years ago, human settlements started spreading different parts of the world including Africa, Asia and Europe. Researchers have found out that birth of civilization took place with the creation of human settlements and evolution of cultures. They argue that human beings, in earlier times, used to live in a very simple way where hunting and fishing were their source of food to survive. In addition, some researchers have also found that early humans also used to collect different wild plants as their food.
