Major historical turnings in the U.S. through the 1970s

Debates over the historical turning points of the United States through the period of 1970s have sometimes become fairly controversial and difficult among several observers of the earlier period. Communally they, represent, define, and signify some long-lasting changes in the overall climate of that time. The definition of the turning points is highly delineation and shifts over time to time as there a change occurs in the perspectives as well as in events as they become more far-away. For many people who glance back over the 20th century, then the years 1924 and 1941 demonstrate some tremendous turning points in the history of the U.S as the whole nation altered in many fundamental manners by responding to the initiation of the period of great depression as the U.S entered in the World War II. Likewise, in 1963 and in 1987, there were not exactly some turning points in the history of the U.S despite of the assassination of the Kennedy and the crash of the stock market. Consequently, turning points replicate a huge change that follows a particular event instead of the event itself. Moreover, not all the historical turning points require to be spotted by some dramatic event. There were no any specific shifts through the period of 1970s, even though; several observers have the same opinion about such decades as the turning points in the history of the U.S.

Major historical turnings on the existing economy, society, culture, and politics of the U.S

Throughout the period of 1970s, many countries have started to fill up the economic gap with the U.S. in most of the cases, this filling has been done because of the movement of manufacture goods of the United States to the other exporting countries where they could be able to manufacture for relatively lesser money for covering the overall cost of higher profits as well as shipping. On the other hand, many countries have steadily learnt to manufacture the similar types of products and services that were previously manufactured by the United States. Too little countries could manufacture such products and services as the growth of real income in the United States has slowed down.

Throughout the 1970s, politics has also been exercised its control over the private companies for achieving some social goals such as improving the health and safety of public or maintaining an appropriate environment. The culture f the U.S. is basically derived from the culture of west, but it also predisposed by the cultures of Native American, Asian, African, Latin American and Polynesian. The culture was initiated with the migration to Asia by the Paleo-Indians and they also took several characteristics with them which now constitute the present society of the United States, as, it is a highly diverse country in terms of both ethnicity and races.
