We have seen many changes in our lives, some good and not good. In the fictional scenario below, describe the probability of incidents in the schools we send our children and how they would be seen in comparison with 1960 now. They make a strong statement about where we as a nation. They would have been funny if it were not so true.

On the question of the degree of maturity, ? think that they are far superior to their equals 60. Their self-assurance and independence, shows the maturity, which is hardly ever seen in the children of the same age in my day.

We were all wrapped in our sports and family trips on weekends, and our time in the week, were considered by the school.

School activities were limited to sports or the arts and drama events. After traveling over long distances to get to and from our school, most of us had little time for fun and games after we arrived home. We also had our chores for Mom to do, which kept us out of trouble.

At the weekend it was our time kicking around with our friends, making our sport and get tied up in family events. With just piano and radio, we made our own entertainment at home. Saturday night dances have become events of the week. Mom and dad would we children together, carrying their share of the dinner, all dressed in our 'Sunday best. "You do not have time to sit with friends, giggling, as you see the guys on the other side of the room. In Bandleader would call each on the floor, and those who can not dance, have been taken into the hands of someone, maybe, you were taught. Gay Gordon, Maxina, two step, etc., were dancing; we could do at a time when we were 10 years ago. It was fun. We have learned how to communicate and listen to adults, with respect and interest. Older folk seem to never speak to us, and they treated us as respected.

From dancing in the community event, alcohol was not allowed so the local police used to keep the eye on the car park. There have been those that will always be a chance of their hands, but they rarely cause major problems.
