From the day of birth, each person seems driven to find the meaning of his own existence in his world. "Sonny's Blues" by James Baldwin is about a man, who though he doesn't conform to social norms, takes his own path and finally finds his place in human society. From my own experience, I believe Sonny deserves love, respect and sympathy because he sets an example of a man who dares to take his own path to find the meaning of his life.
