It is difficult to diagnose Alzheimer because there is no physician to differentiate Alzheimer's dementia "Lewy body" and Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's is a neurodegenerative disease. Alzheimer is a disease which is a slowly progressive disease of the brain. It leads to the state of mind, where the patients even forgets the basic stuffs like how to tie the lace, they even forget the faces, names, etc. According to many scientists, Alzheimer disease is developed by the excess use of beta-amyloid protein (Perl, 2010). The excess use of this protein is directly linked to the brain, which causes the death of nerve cell. It only has to do with the age, instead it can develop anytime, and sometimes it depends upon the use of the beta-amyloid protein.


One of the major and most common symptoms of Alzheimer's disease is the gradual loss of memory. More obvious symptoms are loss of executive function, personality change, behavioral disturbance, and loss of the ability to perform basic activities of daily living. These basic activities include eating, dressing, walking, grooming, etc. These are the activities which the patient starts forgetting, which is the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. Another reason or symptom of Alzheimer's disease is the genetic factor. There is more risk of developing Alzheimer's disease if it is in the family history.
