This is a survey based on an analysis report to the head of the American Union which focuses on the intellectual level of attitude and the satisfaction of the prisoners. Historically, the prison was based on punishing those who wronged society, to inflict suffering of the body - similar to a pound of meat is in Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice. (Tosh 1982) In contrast to this concept, the imprisonment of today is not simply meant to be a severe form of corporal punishment, but a method by which work on a person's mind and body through three distinct areas - including: 1. Punishment 2. Deterrence 3. And Rehabilitation

These three areas only when together in a single process that the company intends to eliminate criminals from a position where they can continue their criminal behavior, placing them in an institution that complies with the masses who want some type of pay criminals persuade others that such activities are not beneficial, and sculpt while abiding citizens the right production and through the positive psychological conditioning that can later be re-integration into society. (Sycamnias 1996)

Maintaining custody of prisoners generally comprises locked, counted, and at the same time to control the isolated moments of welfare activities to meet needs through recreation, education and counseling. Unfortunately, freedom and the individual offender's psychological well-being does not depend on the amount of education, recreation, and the advice given, but rather, how he manages to live and relate to other prisoners who are their life-world and significant only. This is what the prisoner experiences in this world, how to achieve satisfaction, and how to avoid its harmful effects through the adjustment process known as incarceration, which ultimately decides what, if anything, will emerge. (Mays and Winfree 1998)

It is also recognized, through simulations of prison environments, blockades and isolation that have a habit of dehumanizing the prisoners, making them feel anonymous, and raising bad feelings, because of its rejection and condemnation by society whole. (Jones and Fowles, 1984) Similarly, we must remember that the criminals have been drawn from a society in which possessions are closely linked to the concepts of personal worth by numerous cultural definitions. But in prison, inmates are limited to a standard of living near subsistence. (Johnson 1996)

Whatever physical ailments this deprivation may result, which has a deeper psychological meaning in terms of the prisoner's concept of personal fitness - especially when surrounded by other inmates, who estimated that 20% mentally deficient, and 5% of psychosis. (Johnson 1995)
