Assess the advantages and disadvantages of using a Web-based compensation tool versus a client-server based or stand-alone PC-based system and then give your opinion on which system would provide the most value to an organization's stakeholders. Include three (3) facts to support your opinion

The web based compensation tool within an organization involved the salary, the way a company or organization interact with its employees and how it can communicate with the other outsource links. To divide business computing across the computers the two approaches are used either Client-server based or web-based, both of these uses clients and server. Whereas, standalone PC based system is fast and does not require Web access and works fine with the system installation (Brown, 1998). Some pros and cons of Web based compensation tools are:

It can be implemented and work on different and vast variety of platforms like UNIX, Windows, Phones, etc)

It provides employees and others users to access their billing options like date/time, user ID and other accesses.

They are platform independent.

Disadvantages

It can limit the browser and can restrict the bandwidth of the instructional methodologies.

It needs server access which is provided by someone, and bill users and control usage also.

They can have slower bandwidth speed.

The standalone PC based system also has its own pros and cons.

Advantages

They have more features that than the platform of the web-based and are called fuller.

They are more stable and faster when implemented within an organization

Disadvantages
