Introduction

The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant and factual information relating to the analysis of SAP Crystal Solutions website. Information technology refers to the hardware and software that are used to store, retrieve, and manipulate information. Information technologies (IT) have become embedded in so many systems, processes, spaces, and objects. In the broadest sense, information technologies refer to the means through which information is configured, stored, used and might include early symbolic systems, alphabets, inscription, writing etc (Musaji, 2002).

In this paper, we will try to continue working with demos from the SAP Crystal Solutions website. The demo we have selected for this assignment is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): SAP Business One OnDemand. Enterprise resource planning is a management system, called computer information system that integrates all relevant business processes of a company (sales, purchases, warehouse management, accounting, etc.). With the rise in popularity of ERP and the reduction of costs for the ICT (Information and Communication Technology), SAP has developed applications that help business managers to implement this methodology in business activities such as: control of inventories, tracking orders, customer services, finance and human resources (Jutras, 2003).

Discussion

The SAP Business One OnDemand is an application platform developed for the purpose of web integration of business processes through heterogeneous systems, protocols, databases (database) and sources. It is the new technology foundation for all the products of vendors from SAP Business Suite. SAP Business One OnDemand has connotation of being a service-oriented architecture (SOA) application and natural supplement Enterprise platform (Hamilton, 2003).
