Introduction

In order to maintain public order in the regulation of road activities, the deposition of vehicles for parking is generally governed by the provision of appropriate areas on this confidential and the obligation of their use, to avoid leaving any messy and random vehicles can produce the block movement. Multilevel Automatic Car Park

Due to the increase in the number of vehicles on the road, traffic problems are bound to exist. This is due to the fact that the current transportation infrastructure and car park facility developed are unable to cope with the influx of vehicles on the road. To alleviate the aforementioned problems, the smart card parking system has been developed. With the implementation of the parking system, patrons can easily locate and secure a vacant parking space at any car park deemed convenient to them. In this car parking system, there are two types which it refers to, one is allocating slot for parking and another is a charging/ticketing system. The present design deals with a display board which shows a vacancy slot for a car as well as displaying bill of parking a car has parked. Whenever a car is ready to move out of parking area the system displays the charge/amount to be paid for the use of parking slot. This system is effectively in use in most of the European countries and many of the American states. This design is mainly comprised of low manual operation as well as efficient equipment can be installed any of thecommercial, industrial, apartments, institutions/universities, etc., hence it is a low cost apparatus as it mainly uses a microcontroller which is programmable, which is easy to install in any of the above places mentioned. A project for Embeded Software course, a software implementation of a multilevel automatic car parking system (controllers + visualization). This project is just a simulation and has not been implemented "in real life".
