The decision to create and strengthen business partner relationships in an excellent initiative taken on behalf of Thomas .Business partner relationships are the business pertinent connections between two or more business partners. Establishing effective strategic partnerships is a huge opportunity to improve an organization's business prospect. These relationships need to be cooperative. Karen has a huge challenge in creating a successful business partner relationship with the sales head. In order to establish strategic business partnerships it is essential to have a proper view of what changes needs to be made to improve the functions.

Karen needs to discuss in details some of the new roles and changes that are made. It is a common issue while implementing the strategic business roles that the transition needed in order to fit into the new responsibilities and ultimately stop following the past practices. Karen needs to bring out in the open with Wendy what is expected out of the sales department and how will it be achieved developing a successful partnership relationship requires a lot of skill and work. Both Karen and Wendy need to create and understand new expectations and goals. Karen's biggest challenge is letting go of her own past role and behavior and making the transition into her new role effectively and help the other departments make this transition as well.
