Introduction

Cell the basic unit of life. On the basis of their cellular structures, all living cells can be divided into two groups: prokaryotic and eukaryotic (also detailed procaryotic and eucaryotic). Animals, plants, fungi, protozoa and algae have all types of eukaryotic cells. (Shapiro 2008)

Discussion

In biology, we use this word to denote the root of the cell nucleus. "Pro" means "before" and "EU" stands for "truth" or "good." So "Prokaryotic" means "before nucleus" and "eukaryotic" means "possessing a true nucleus." Prokaryotic cells have no nuclei, where as compared, eukaryotic cells have true nuclei.
