Introduction

Child behavior is one of the important considerations for parents in terms of their nurturance since it is becoming worse than it was year ago, it would not be wrong to say that every generations grumble as how their children or the coming generation is spoiled and disrespectful than their own generation. Child behavior has been evolving with the passage of time, as the environment is changing, and most importantly with the evolution of technology and its easy access to children. Child is universally a human between the ages of birth and puberty but early childhood where the time when the base is prepared and nurtured for personal, linguistic, cognitive, and social-emotional natural force that will elaborate throughout their lives forms in 3 to 5 years, between the end of toddler years and the start of first grade. Early childhood is undoubtedly the most intriguing and charming phase of human development and is a major concern for parents in molding them with a base to guide them becoming a better person.

Stages of Development

Nature has blessed every child in its own unique way. There are different phases to child development that roots them to varying behaviors. We will discuss typically five phases to child development:

Emotional and Social Development

The development stage forms the norms of social circle and guides them through the emotional behavioral patterns, how to react and respond to different situations. Children make friends at different stages of life; interact with them and their choices, behaviors, linguistic skills are largely influenced by the social group they engage in. A baby playing with a toy and smiles towards it shows that he recognizes it (Achenbech, 1993).Cognitive Development

Cognitive is directly related to the development of mind, it develops the sense of responsiveness and understanding with respect to varying situations and setting that the child is exposed to. A baby will explore its surroundings and react to it differently. Also, these settings leave an understanding and impression in the minds of children and elaborate to a great extent in their development. For example, visiting a different place 2 months old baby will explore his surroundings (Achenbech, 1993).Speech and Language Development

The face is majorly important since it develops the linguistic skills of child that forms the bases of their conversation and to some extent attitude. During this phase, they are adapted to different languages and learns them and thus, it is often said that a child should be correctly and wisely exposed to an environment and language since it form the basis of their linguistic etiquettes.
