Company Overview

Cisco Systems, Inc. is an American multinational company that develops and sells network equipment. It aims to provide a full range of network equipment, and thus provide the client to purchase everything necessary network equipment exclusively from Cisco Systems. It is one of the largest companies in the world specializing in the field of high technology. Initially engaged only corporate routers, Cisco call itself "the world leader in networking technologies for the Internet". Cisco Systems has created a multi-level complex system certification engineers in computer networks. Due to the fact that the exams test knowledge of this system not only products Cisco, but also knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, many organizations, even working for the network equipment of other companies recognize the value of professional certifications Cisco. In particular, the expert level certification (CCIE) is one of the most well known and respected in the computer industry. History

The couple Leonard Bosak (Leonard Bosack) and Sandra Lerner (Sandra Lerner) based company Cisco Systems in 1984. They worked as computer maintenance staff at Stanford University. Leonard Bosak adapted many programs router protocols, written by William Iger (William Yeager), another employee, who began working for several years before joining Bosak of the University of Pennsylvania where he received a bachelor. During 1993, Cisco and Cascade Communications agreed to jointly develop a multiservice WAN solution for the telecommunications marketplace based on combined technology. This move was responsible for producing the industry's first unified platform. It also resulted in improving sales of Cisco products as Cascade began using them for its operations.
