Introduction

This assignment is based on comparing two articles: “What was Jim Crow Legislation” and “The Garbage man: why I collect racist objects?” by David Pilgrim. David Pilgrim is a curator of Jim Crow museum and a Professor of Sociology at the Ferris State University.
