Congress and their Powers

The constitution provides for three basic types of powers to the Federal Government, to wit the Congress and the executive: the delegated powers, also called express powers or powers enumerated and implied powers concurrent powers. Finally concurrent powers are those that can be exercised both by the central government and by states (Fisher, 1972).
