Executive Summary

In this research, we tried to explore the impact of implementing CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) on enhancing the business value of Kazakhmys Plc. CSR has driven the paradigm of the company to a new direction for managing the relationship with customers. Customer relationships management intends to strengthen coordination between the company and its customers to improve relationships through the credence components of the customer relationship. Environment protection initiative by the organization in the form of establishing the Air Purification Plant would add significant value to business growth in long-term. In general, this concept seen as important for the foundation of the image and reputation of the organization.

Kazakhmys Plc was established in 1930 as a copper production company. Kazakhmys Plc has its headquarters in London, United Kingdom. Company's operations for copper mining are located in Kazakhstan. Company runs its operations under the subsidiary of Kazakhmys Corporation, currently present in Karaganda, Kazakhstan region. Company has dual listing in Hong Kong and London Stock Exchanges; it is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. Kazakhmys PLC is among the world's leading natural resources groups. Business is based primarily in Kazakhstan, Central Asia. Its market capitalisation is $13,373 million.

Extracting value at every step Kazakhmys is responsible for 90% of all copper produced in Kazakhstan. Company also produce and sell significant quantities of zinc, silver and gold as by-products. It's integrated structure, owning and managing everything from mining to production, has helped make Kazakhmys one of the world's most flexible and lowest-cost copper producers. Alongside copper, company's ore contains other metals. It produces significant quantities of zinc, silver and gold as by-products as well as in power generation, coal mining, transportation, and sales and logistics businesses.

It also involves in the mining and processing of gold ore into refined ore primarily in Kazakhstan; and the exploration and development of oil and gas in the East Akzhar Exploration Block in western Kazakhstan. The mix of by-products varies between mines; Kazakhmys operates primarily in Europe, Kazakhstan, and China. With over 20 years' reserves, company is the largest copper producer in Kazakhstan and eleventh-largest in the world. Main competitors of Kazakhmys Plc are Anglo American plc, Antofagasta plc, Anglesey Mining plc, Rio Tinto plc, BHP Billiton plc, and Vedanta Resources plc.
