Introduction

This paper intends to explore the concept of education and lifelong learning for elders. The main focus of this paper is to examine the significance of continued education for elders. Further, it also discusses a piece of legislation that has influenced delivery of education and lifelong learning to elders. In addition to this, this paper examined the roles of different factors in elder education. Those factors are universities, community colleges, non credit educational programs outside higher education.
