Introduction

The argument over whether business ethics may be taught has been unreasonably completed. It is illogical, because we predicate much of our teaching profession on the assumption that what students learn in the classroom will infact be applied in their professional life. We assume that we may teach students to be more effective leaders, better auditors, more creative designers. Why not more ethical in their business dealings? We believe the persistence of uncertainty is at least partly due to the pressure between likelihood and restriction.

Organization Selected

The organization selected is Emirates NBD Group. Emirates NBD Group is the leading banking group in UAE region. It was formed in 2007 by the merger of Emirates Bank International and the National Bank of Dubai. Emirates bank is aiming to enhance value across corporate, retail, investment, and Islamic banking across the globe. Emirates NBD Group has its global presence in different nations which include UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UK, few branches in South Asian Countries (India and Iran), and Singapore. Emirates NBD aligned its strategy to be recognized as dynamic and leading financial services provider globally (Emirates Bank, 2010). Emirates bank is the leading banking service entity in the Gulf region. Emirates NBD Banking Group has effectively positioned itself in the corporate sector. Affiliation with Islamic banking entities, investment in public, private, and social sector; expertise in asset management and brokerage services positioned the bank as consistently delivering value to the customer and return to its shareholders, employees, and stakeholders.

Personal values

The personal values that I think are the most important are integrity, optimism, accomplishment, competency, empowerment, efficiency, improvement, quality, dignity, ambition, equality, integrity, service, individuality, wisdom, generosity, persistency, challenge, excellence, accuracy, respect, responsibility, discipline/order, learning, enjoyment/fun, independence, dependability, innovativeness, loyalty, credibility, honesty, courage, influence, teamwork, friendliness, collaboration, accountability, dedication, empathy, compassion, diversity honesty, trust, respect, equality and commitment to organizational goals. An employee should work with full dedication to achieve organizations mission and vision by giving an effective productivity and efficient performance.

I value people before tasks. As in this life our relationships with the people are the most valuable commodity that we have. Success is measured by who we affect and how we affect not by what we do in order to achieve that success.

Mission Statement

Build and maintain strong relationships on the basis of the principles of love, honesty, trust, respect and integrity. In order to preach and teach the Word of God in culturally relevant ways by acquiring and maintaining sound educational and realistic tools of organization. Also, by training and authorizing leaders through intentional means of evangelism and discipleship.
