Abstract

The main objective of the current study is to evaluate financial behaviour of the investor/customer before purchasing mutual fund from the market. This research was done using different financial, statistical, technical and fundamental tools. Author also put an effort to highlight the market fluctuations at different financial situations and their effect on the mutual sector. She also took opportunity to extrapolate various outcomes from the Indian mutual sector compared with other well developed countries preferably taking Kotak Mahindra as firm company. Finally study revealed that Asset management companies/sponsors should develop their innovative techniques to reach the satisfaction level of customers. Different factors that could alter/attract the financial intellectual characters of investor were stated in the work which could give brief idea to the firm companies. Data collected form the Kotak Company proclaims that there is a better future for the Indian mutual sector in coming 3-4 years and could compete with developed countries in the world.
