Introduction

The sociological study of fashion is most frequently presented within a larger, interdisciplinary framework that integrates psychology, sociology, and cultural aspects of dress. This viewpoint recognizes the complex individual and social contextual components of the relationship of people and clothing, and acknowledges the difficulty in teasing out any one aspect(Susan 2000, 45). Distinctions between dress and fashionable dress are often deliberately blurred. Reference to fashion sociology in particular can be found embedded in most treatments of the socio-psychological aspects of dress.

The factors are identified to me in two areas which are the pillars of the fashion system (Italian). Creative area - based on our culture, our history, our cultural heritage - which, in summary; we can define "effect Renaissance." Reflecting on the unique dynamics of the Made in Italy in the sectors related to the consumption per person (Clothing, furniture, furnishings, etc) (Higgins 2005, 21). Many commentators have repeatedly stressed the influence positive historical traditions and, in particular, "the effect of the Renaissance", which still persist in culture, aesthetics and craftsmanship of the Italians. In practice, the fact of living in a country that boasts the world's rich architectural heritage is a kind of school group that develops a sense for beauty and beautiful things. Technological area based on the completeness of the textile industry, the machinery, research applied. The integrity of the supply chain: a distinctive element of the success of Made in Italy is the integrity of its production: Italy continues to successfully oversee all phases of cycle textile - clothing, from the production of yarns and fabrics to the packaging of clothes, through the crucial phase of operations (which in Italy is often appropriately defined "Finishing" of the textile fibers). The machinery, in Italy there is an important engineering industry, which produces plants (Machinery for spinning, weaving, dyeing, ennoble, package, etc.) used by textile companies; the proximity between equipment manufacturers and users has often been decisive for his own development of the fashion industry, for example, twisting the yarn and the effects on the "hand" tissue. Applied research: integrity in the process and machinery, closely related, let maximize resources for innovation and creativity and adding value added at each stage of processing, in each product. These factors, to produce significant effects that we have seen, must be combined, conjugates in an appropriate manner by the actors, the protagonists of the fashion industry and this can take place in groups in complex corporate structures or in clusters(Penny 2007, 74).

It has also been recognized as an important business force in the realm of consumer behaviour. Costume history references are moving away from a recitation of detail of design features, to include broader treatments of the clothing with specific temporal and social contexts. The reader will find many books on the history of dress useful in the pursuit of information about fashion sociology for the time period covered.
