Introduction

Green computing is the term used to denote the efficient use of computing resources. This term generally refers to the use of computer resources in conjunction with minimizing environmental impact, maximizing the economic viability and social rights guarantees. Green computing is closely related to similar movements, such as reducing the use of environmentally hazardous materials, such as CFCs, promoting the use of recyclable materials, minimize the use of non-biodegradable components, and encourage the sustainable use of resources.
