The effective management systems allows the company or the institution to manage the business operations and allow the planning of appropriate decisions and allows the efficient implementation of business decisions. The management issues if handled and dealt with an appropriate manner allow the companies and institutions to attain the desired level of output and allow the organizations, companies and institutions to achieve the competitive advantage among the competitors in the industry (Addicott, R., 2011).

In health care sector, there is also the significant impact of management issues upon the performance of health care providers. In the industry of health care, the management of the quality is most important concept that gives the health care providers the distinctive advantage among the competitors (Barrett, G., Sellman, D., Thomas, J., 2005). With the increase in population around the world, numerous types of diseases are increased that have given the health care providers, around the world, a biggest challenge. The provision of quality services by the health care providers has become an essential perspective in view of the patients and the health care providers are given the challenges to maintain the well being of the patient. This challenge given by the patients has also created the challenge of financial survival for the health care providers.

In the provision of quality health services, the health care quality management departments as well as other the health facilities management departments, within the hospitals plays a significant role in the development of better policies and procedures and the better implementing and monitoring policies and procedures in order to increase quality of health services that are given to the patients within the hospitals. The better and effective provision of quality health care services not only decreases the mortality rates but also it has significant impact upon the hospitals as it provides the higher level of profit margins that increases the profitability of the hospitals and decreases the financial risks (Leathard, A., 1994). It is also the matter of fact that there is the increased competition among the health care providers because of the increase in the health care institutions.

In the United Kingdom, the health care providers and institutions are working their best by implementing better management policies and procedures, but there are still some deficiencies in managing and maintaining the provision of quality services. The major factors behind the lack of proper and less effective health care services is that many of the health care providers have not yet developed the criteria of quality health services.
