Introduction

Going towards higher education for a single mother may become a real challenge when she is committed to caring and supporting for her family. Those single mothers which due to getting married early could not complete higher education because of which they end up getting jobs with low income. Single mother usually faces issue of poverty and financial instability (Buchele, 55). Education plays a vital role in economic development, and one of the major factors explaining differences in living standards between countries is more or less the early history of educational progress Education is important especially for single mother because it helps them in getting higher paying job. With high income jobs they can effectively develop their family. In this paper we are going to analyze the why higher education is important for single mothers.

Usually children if single mother do not plays an effective role in the society due to the fact they do not get proper attention, and financial support. When a mother single handedly taking care of her children decides to go for higher education, they in actual help the society since they understand and teach their children the principles of living in society with fairness and peace. Single mother who are highly educated always make wise decisions and work sensibly for her children and family (Polakow, 7). Highly educated mother plays an important role in grooming their children with core values like equality, truth, respect, dignity, and various other moral principles. Similarly when a mother of child is highly educated, she shall be providing educational environment for her children and can effectively assist their children.

With higher education single mother learn various skills like time management, conflict resolution, decision making, and many more skills.
