Hollywood and Other Film industries

Introduction

Hollywood is the World's largest and the most renowned film industry. It is famous for its movies and it has captured most of the World's entertainment market. As the richest country of the world, the American film producers invest heavy amounts in their movies, which is impossible for other countries to do.

KTLA the first commercial television station began to work in Hollywood on 22nd January, 1947. “The public prosecutor” was the first Hollywood film production that aired in December. In the 20th century, music studios and offices started to move to Hollywood. Other industries, however, continue to immigrate to different parts of the Los Angeles, mainly Burbank. In 1952, Beverly Boulevard was built on the corner of Gilmore Stadium, and CBS built on Fairfax Avenue, site of the CBS Television City. CBS recording program with the slogan "from the TV in Hollywood ..." This is a recording studio not allow to be visited by the public, but its distinctive spherical design which looks like a heap of old 45rpm disc records. In Hollywood “Walk of Fame” was established in 1958, the first star is in place in 1960 as an artist to pay tribute to the work in the entertainment industry. In 1985, the Hollywood entertainment and commercial district was formally listed in protecting important historical buildings, and to ensure that the importance of Hollywood in the past will always be a part of its future place of countries. June 1999, the appreciated Hollywood annex of Metro Red Line subway opened, running from downtown West Street on Hollywood Boulevard and Los Angeles River, in the vines Street, Highland Avenue Station (Julian, 44-65). Kodak Theatre, Hollywood Boulevard opened in 2001 on Highland Avenue. While Hollywood films still in production areas, most major studios are actually located in other parts of the Los Angeles area. The only vintage studio still standing in Hollywood is the paramount Studios. For example, some local television stations also maintain KTLA studios there, and ABC is still on the east side of Hollywood studios, but most of the network's programming is now produced by The Walt Disney Company in Burbank. ABC members in Los Angeles, KABC also moved into the Glendale, California, the new studio (Carol, 194-195). In 2002, Hollywood began to plot a number of citizens from Los Angeles to become a movement, because it was a century ago, its incorporated municipalities. Secession supporters believe that their community needs are ignored by the leaders of Los Angeles. In the same year in June, the Los Angeles County Board of administrators placed secession of Hollywood and Silicon Valley's referendum "citywide election."
