(Schmitt 2003, 10) The research done and the evidence compiled for this report was crucial for the industry to understand the problems that currently hinder economic growth and plan for a successful construction industry and sustainable future. (Kaj 2008, 18) The is expected to continue into recession this year, but fall far short of the activity was witnessed in 2009, before returning to modest growth in 2011. (Jackson 2008, 12 )
