InterClean

One of the major areas of focus for InterClean is their product and service offerings to the customer. Because InterClean has made a substantial impact in the sanitation industry, it is important to keep on top of the game by adhering to new governing laws set forth by OSHA and listening to customer needs and wants. InterClean is faced with a few commitments; one of them is initial revamping their product and service offering, next, ramping up their Sales Team for product commitment and focus as well as hiring new staff to help face challenges and move forward to promote a positive impact. In hopes to carry out the commitments above, David Spencer, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is taking the lead to organize InterClean and establish a foundation to build upon and move forward. InterClean needed to make a new direction stronger, to help their products comply within the governing environmental safety laws. The initial thought is to train current employees on new products and services offered as well as hire new team members to help carry out the business goals domestically and internationally. To compliment that thought, it is also important to develop a competitive advantage in the market. Their task at hand is to update their materials to meet required environmental standards and ensure they are delivering a strong product offering to their customers. To do this, their team must be on board with new ideas and tasks. This also is endured by putting the right team in place whether retaining current employees and/or hiring new ones, can help with bringing to the table more skills and ideas. Overall, this will help reach goals of re-evaluating their product and creating new ideas to be competitive in the market. Spencer has enlisted the Human Resources department to find new candidates willing to get on board. This is a commitment to Organizational Capability, which is to effectively manage and retain the right people to gain a competitive advantage. (HR Management 2008)
