Introduction

After a successful merge with EnviroTech, InterClean will start a new strategic direction providing full service cleaning solutions for organizations in the health care industry. One of the goals for InterClean is to become an industry leader. To accomplish this InterClean will need an outstanding workforce with skills and abilities that are able to help the company achieve its future goals. In this report a job analysis will be conducted along with a discussion of the workforce planning system and a selection of team members.

Job Analysis

A job analysis is a description of the work to be done, the skills needed and the training and experience required.

The job analysis also includes a plan for the future of the company. The job analysis will be used as a forecast in Human Resources and for training or promotional purposes within the organization.

Interviews and job performance are both important methods used to attain the proper personnel needed of the sales person for the company. Job performance method addresses job proficiency, training, personal data and a more accurate idea of environmental and social demands required for the job. The interview gives the employer an opportunity to gain more information about the candidate and their skills.

InterClean is looking for future profitability and they will depend on a sales force and prepared teams to support the company and along with offering high- quality services to customers. This is of utmost importance for InterClean before, during and after the transition of the merge with EnviroTech.

Interviews will be part of the analysis.Using interviews will allow the company to hire personnel for the specific job. The job specifications that pertain to the sales department are:

1) Communication and writing skills - Being able to talk and write in a clear and concise manner.

2) Persuasion - Influencing others to look at a situation in another way.

3) Listening Skills -Listen to what people are actually saying, understanding the points, and asking pertinent questions. 4) Leadership and Organizational skills - Coordinating the team in a work environment.

5) Negotiation - Ability to conduct a win- win situation.

Main job duties:

• Selling -The ability to sell your company and their goods.

• Information Release-Giving pertinent information to supervisors and co-workers as needed.

• Information Exchange — Ability to communicate with people outside the organization, presenting the correct image of the company to customers, the public and other external sources.

• Conflict negotiations — Management of grievances, arguments, and conflicts.

• Coordination and Planning — Establishing goals and a strategic plan to organize the teams to better perform their jobs.

• Computer Skills — The ability to use and learn computer skills.
