Introduction

The PC World line of business is the major part of Ebuyer strategy for IT solutions. The primary focus of PC World team is to develop the roadmap for our clients that provide the methodology and toolkit for identifying, structuring, and building successful solutions.

The technology boom helped PC World team soar to massive heights in profitability and revenue, even though there were major weaknesses in methodologies and management. The past year has seen some major restructuring within PC World team which was deemed necessary to sustain business. These consequences of these alterations have now been stabilised and it seems that employees' morale and productivity have risen to commerce benchmarks. The focus of next upcoming years is to not only streamline these defined processes but also grow business (Jain 2000 p 18). It is envisaged, that by applying alterations characterised in this design, business can grow by 20% in next 3 economic years. This increase is in keeping with industry predictions and will secure future of PC World team.

The internet and technological revolution was advised over after bursting of .com bubble which led to myriad companies filing for voluntary administration. It was pursued closely with attacks of September 11th which farther hindered restoration and development of this industry. However, this is the revolution that refuses to die, and has now developed to being critical and integral to our lives and businesses. According to Best (2000 p 87), "IT companies have the strong optimism for 2004, including the willingness to invest in new applications and infrastructure." Cost cutting, the big feature of IT departments in past three years, is still important for many companies, but is no longer sole imperative. Companies are eventually rising their buying into in security technology, e-business submissions and communications infrastructure. While no one in commerce anticipates IT spending to surge, there is careful optimism that expending will, at least, return to usual grades in 2004.

The PC World team markets two primary products, custom consulting service and packaged offerings. Custom conferring services are purchaser exact and unique to each engagement. It engages partnering with purchaser and aiding them to explain the problem or challenge. It allows trading of associations' most important resource, their employees and their skills. It needs skilled engineers and specialists in the variety of areas with comprehensive domain information in their specialty.
