The topic I have chosen is Job satisfaction of an employee in an organization. Job satisfaction recounts how content a one-by-one is with his or her job. The happier persons are inside their job, the more Satisfied they are said to be. Job satisfaction is Not the same as motivation, although it is clearly linked (Smith, 2002, pp.174-175). Job design aspires to enhance job satisfaction and performance; methods encompass job rotation, job enlargement and job enrichment. Other leverages on satisfaction include the administration style and culture, employee involvement, empowerment and autonomous work position. Job satisfaction is a very significant ascribes which is frequently measured by organizations. The most widespread way of measurement is the use of ranking scales where employees report their reactions to their jobs. Questions relate to rate of pay, work responsibilities, kind of jobs, promotional opportunities the work itself and co-workers. (Smith, 2002, pp.174-175)
