Introduction

Poetry, fiction and drama, used since the earliest times in order to explain the events that experienced within man himself, in relation to himself and others. This is impossible of a rational explanation (not by limitations of the old man but the same reasoning) which allows the emergence of the symbolic image, the root of poetry. This project aims to develop literacy skills by exploring some of the poetry, dramas and fiction. It also seeks to develop in students the skills to analyze, evaluate and interpret the figurative language of poetry itself. The project also encourages bibliographical research online about poets particularly interesting to meet the curricular requirements of the course.

In the evening, an icy cold winter evening landed on the world. The lamps light up the streets forming strange artificial stars fallen to earth. Alone, I look out the window like every night. The silence is too cold. He grips my heart in its fist solitude. Regret or should I say remorse speaks to me in the shadows. All these summer days, these walks and love those looks into mine full of broken promises. Behind the window, the stars twinkling electric, reassuring, for they all seems normal. In town houses, the television broadcast their opium while pet dogs sleeping by the fireplace. Only, I look out the window and call poetry to my rescue. I expect that fleeting moment when I would do one with this world with these lamps; the snow fell this winter night, the silence in me, these memories sadly happy, the banality of it. Finally, this is it! I am no longer alone but love for the world.

A strange transfiguration took place and the stars along the streets and houses, and suddenly my remorse based in the eternity of words I write. In linguistics, poetry described as a statement focusing on the shape of the message so that the poetic function is dominant. In the prose is important is the 'signified', it has a purpose "outside" (the transmission of information) and defined as a way forward that can symbolize an arrow and shows that the Latin root word meaning " move forward. However, for poetry, the importance oriented towards the "form" to mean, in a process "reflexive", symbolized by the "worms" which shows an increase in the recovery with the principle of backward (it to be "backward") that can be represented by a spiral. Poetry cannot be defined not by themes, but by the care given to the major means for it, multiplies the signified: the enrichment of the linguistic material takes into account all the effects work on the formal aspects that the weight of words, going well beyond the usual sense of the word "poetry" which simply refers to the harmonious beauty associated with a certain sentimentality.
