Mix Methodology

Research Method

Any type of research that he wants to do requires the use of a research methodology, which is devoted primarily to the study of methods and techniques to investigate and determine how to develop the issue rose. To select from different alternatives, one in particular, is one of the most important and decisive step in the development of projects, because the phone correctly to obtain valid conclusions from research that meet the objectives initially described. (Guba 2008) Proponents of the approach argue that quantitative research in the field of Science education must be objective, unbiased and applicable in any context. As for the followers of the qualitative approach, they rejected this desire to objectify so the sine qua non for social science research. For fans this approach, the objectification and generalization in the social sciences are both impossible and undesirable. (Kemmis 2009)

Qualitative research is characterized by rather the emphasis on induction, rich descriptions, etc. These two positions epistemologically contrary, have often talked about what Howe calls the thesis incompatibility which maintains that the qualitative and quantitative research, as well the methods of data collection inherent in these two approaches could not be allied. The idea of having to choose between the qualitative and quantitative research well characterized much of the research in science education during the 15 years. (Johnson 2004)

Data Analysis

We are being bombarded with primary data all day. Sounds, sights, tastes, tactile things are constantly stimulating our senses.
