Introduction

Communication plays a vital role in an organization. It is a key element that serves the rest of the organizational goals. Delivering things in an effective way is an art. This art is a basic tool for communication. Communication benefits the organization irrespective of the department or the level of employee. If a person using monotone, it will be hard to understand the theme of the subject. Inversely, when a person incorporates gestures and tone, it will be easier to understand the meaning (Patt & Dessai, 2005). The article I have chosen for this research is the XtremityPlus Company, a leader in sports products.

In the article, the CEO of the company Maneef Hassan in a meeting to the staff announced the removal of one of the products called Looney from the company's product line. The reason he presented is low product safety that has caused severe injury to one of their customers who has suited file against the company for low safety standards. The company has stopped all the retailers and distributors from selling the said product to end users. This news is discouraging for the entire staff of the company as they have spent their time, efforts and moreover their expectations were related to the high sale of that product. Here, the CEO appreciates the efforts of staff and urges them to work hard and don't bother with the removal of that product.
