Question No. 1

In accordance with this question, differing responses have been recorded. The variation in responses of each nurse can be attributed according to their roles. Research Nurse directly consults the physician who observes the patient, because the physician is the one who is responsible of prescribing medication to the patient. The Staff Nurse spends most of her time with other nurse because the patient requires comprehensive care. Administration Nurse is engaged with team members not related to patient care she responds to escort and messenger people, supply, housekeeping, pharmacy, and radiology. However, the role of each team member is crucial because they all are indirectly related to health and well-being of patient (Snodgrass, Mary, 2004). Clinical Specialist Nurse Practitioner engages with the nurse and other attendants because her role involves taking care of patients by aiding them in recovery. Education Nursing has an immense responsibility, and this response is driven through role. Such nurses spend most of their time in catering students who are pursuing professional course in nursing.

Question No. 2

Despite the varied nature of roles, the responses documented for this question of every nurse to some extent are identical, as collectively summed up that team building plays a pivotal role in the roles they play. All nurses came up with the idea that team building help nurses in planning the method of recovery for the patients, whereas, nurses also describe working in a team as best learning process even in the healthcare institutions. Team building practice helps experienced nurses or new comers to get familiar with the team, which motivates them to learn and practice. It has also been observed from the responses that every nurse need to come up with information regarding any issue and possible solutions of patients problem. The nurse also needs to demonstrate the knowledge about their patients, their problems, and possible outcomes of their diseases, illness or injury (D'Antonio, 2010). Clinical Specialist Nurse Practitioner's response was different from others, because she claimed that to work as a team is quite difficult on their role. They have to be cautious about what they are doing, because the life of the patients rests on their attitude. Clinical Specialist Nurse responded that because of increase number of visitors, the patients under their observation increases the vulnerability of the patient. Whereas, nurse from Education-Nursing Faculty endorse the team building practice and collaborate to complete work in a way that is more effective while it also saves time and increase efficiency.

Question No. 3

When the respondent nurse were asked about the level of care provided to the patients, Nurse for Research responded that care to the patient is provided on the basis of medical record including his or her past medical history. Staff Nurse responded that for everyone in her department mutual understanding is the key.
