Organizational Design, Culture and Adaptation

Introduction

In today's world, there are numerous healthcare programs that have been modifying their operational culture and design in order to adapt to the financial viability as well as to be self-centered (Likert, 1961). Organizational design is a guided and formal process that integrates information, people and the use of technology in an organization. Organizational design is used to in order to match the organizations very closely so that it helps achieve the tasks of the organization. Organizational culture is a set of understandings on which the actions of an organization are based. The culture of an organization is the standards, through which people associated to the organization perceive, believe, evaluate and act. Organizational adaptation, the people working with an organization are to adapt to the culture as well as the design of the organization. This is done in order to improve the productivity of the organization and improve the reputation of the company.
