Pursuing my education as a family nurse practitioner, would help me in continuing my dream of serving as an inspirational source within my family circle. I would be the first, amongst my family, to be graduated with a Master's degree. This accomplishment will also be rendered as the biggest achievement to complete Master's studies, while facing typical challenges encountered by immigrants attempting to assimilate in the United States.

The idea of going to a nursing school prompted me, when I was taking a few classes at Bunker Hill Community College. Therefore, I started attending nursing school as a full-timer along with working. I worked for about sixty hours per week, Mondays through Fridays, while continuing nursing school on Friday evenings and all-day Saturdays and Sundays. This reflects my passion for becoming a nurse practitioner. Although, those two years were very challenging, and everyone believed that I would not be able to pass the exams, but, I succeeded in the end. It was only the faith, hope and passion towards achieving my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. Though, I could not stand among A-graders, but I managed to maintain a GPA of B- in all my courses. I consider this as my biggest achievement until today, of becoming a Registered Nurse. I have had several chances of speaking to minority students regarding my accomplishments, which made me very proud of myself and boost up my morale to perform even better in the future. ...
