Population Data Project

Population Data Project

Introduction

The paper is based on the population data that pertains to adolescents and young adults whose age group varies from 15 to 30 years. The study particularly focuses on the change in the population over the years; besides it, the statistics of the population will be compared with the goals and objectives of Healthy People 2010 so that the progress can be determined.

Discussion

In the given table, population statistics are being mentioned which indicates the key statistics over the ten years period of the chosen population which is based on adolescents and young adults.

The result of the above descriptive statistics table is indicating the mean values of all the incorporated variables which are used in examining the data. The most crucial values of the table are the standard deviation and means of the variables which are essential to study as these values shows the accuracy of the data which has been collected. In this context, it can be said that the mean birth rate and overall mortality rate of the adolescents and young adults is 20. However, it is found that the infant mortality rate is 18. Furthermore, the average life expectancy is 77 years of age and incidence of common infectious diseases is 1957. From the above table, it is observed that the standard deviation of the infant mortality rates of the adolescents and young adults population is high that is 2.4 as compared to the other variables that are birth rate, overall mortality rate, immunization rates.

It is also found that the variance in the life expectancy and numbers with health insurance is also high. Similarly, the variance ...
