Introduction

The world, these days is in the phase of population explosion, and is being further overcrowded with the passage of time. Along with the increasing birth rates, the ageing of the population is also facing an upward trend in the entire world. That results in leading to many social and health problems at the same time. The concept of ageing states that the population of the country or the region exceeds from the median age range. This rising of age may present many critical problems for the country's administration and its management for the reason that it can pose countless challenges on every domain and institution on the national and global level. Therefore, Successful and positive aging is necessary to understand by the people in the world, in order to lead a healthy life.

Extensive increases in the relative and absolute number of older persons in our society pose a challenge for biology, social and behavioral science, and medicine. Successful aging is multidimensional, encompassing the avoidance of disease and disability, the maintenance of high physical and cognitive function, and sustained engagement in social and productive activities. Research has identified factors predictive of success in these critical domains. The stage is set for intervention studies to enhance the proportion of our population aging successfully.

The concept of successful aging commonly focuses on population-based epidemiological studies aimed at understanding genetic, biochemical, and behavioral factors, influencing the incidence of disease and disability in late life (Rowe & Kahn, 1998).
