Introduction to Construction Module

In the field of architecture, a subjective unit of measurement used to systematize the dimensions or proportions of the building or complex. In architecture, people use different quantities as the module, according to the type of construction or design of the building. The structure module may be the dimensions, size of the individual structure, and parts or material used in the construction of the building. The measure of length such as the meter, and foot is also directly used as modules for the formation of linear module.

The module in recent construction has become a piece of equipment in architectural symphony to put an agreement about the dimensions, structure, and parts. Procurement applies the process of art and science of getting external resource and management of supply through a knowledge body given by the experienced professional and practitioner.

It does not deal with a single field of process or action. It includes events and activities after and before signing the contract as well as the other general management actions linked with a different range of contracts. The activities or actions are given below.

Corporate governance, risk management, regularity compliance and supplier relationship management are come in the territory of general activities (Kidd, 2006).
