Introduction

Heath Robinson's. is the small Web Hosting store located in Phoenix, Arizona. The store is located in Phoenix metropolitan area and is owned by two individuals. The company has been open for three years. In that time owners have developed the consistent client base. Heath Robinson's. offers the variety of Web Hosting including men, women and children Web apparel, accessories, equipment, and food and drink products. Client demographics mostly range between ages of 18 to 45 and expand within the 15-30 mile radius of store.

Problem

Recently, owners of Heath Robinson's. decided to try and expand their client base and hired the advertising company to help them with their goal. Initially they decided to only advertise through local radio stations to see response they would receive. The response was significant enough to move towards television advertising. The increase of business from advertising has developed the need for company to purchase the software inventory program, rebuild their Information Technology infrastructure and build the website for their growing customer base.

Importance

A new software program to handle their inventory needs will significantly improve stores efficiency as well as customer satisfaction. For example, if the product is out of stock in store customer can pre-order product. Having inventory software program will allow store to track product and call customer when it is expected to arrive. Previously there was the longer waiting period for product to come in if it was not initially available. The customer would also wait longer to receive product and have no update of the expectant arrival time. The new inventory software program will also allow them to handle increase of inventory with less manpower, thus costing company less in future.

A new website provides another avenue for company to advertise and reach their client base. Furthermore, website will provide updated information about sales events, grand opening events and information about Heath Robinson's. products and services.

Overall, implementation of the software inventory program, IT upgrades and the new website for company should increase business, improve efficiency, reduce inventory problems, improve customer satisfaction and overall assist with expansion of new store.

IT Infrastructure

Computer equipment that is upgradeable must be brought up to the acceptable level of usability.
