Psychology is the study of how human beings and animals' sense, believe, discover and know. Psychology is a research founded on observations and theories. Modern psychology is the assembling of details and rotating them into psychological theories to interpret people's demeanor and occasionally to forecast and leverage their future behavior. The control and esteem of psychology has been glimpsed tremendous change and development since its early beginnings. Psychology has since its inception proceeded to change and develop, and new perspectives and concepts have been introduced. Recent psychological study focuses on numerous facets of the human behavior and know-how, right from the influence of heritage and communal components to biological leverages on human behavior.

Today, most of the psychologists do not recognize themselves with a lone school of thought. Instead, they favor focusing on certain specialty perspectives or localities, often drawing deductions from a broad variety of theoretical backgrounds. This up to designated day set about has assisted new ideas and concepts that still extend to form the future of psychology. Psychologists share goals and methods, as well as scientists, try to describe, explain, predict and control what they study. Psychologists analyze a case such as the difference in aggression between men and women. Once established sex differences in aggression and once described the psychologist begins to explain. The field of psychology has introduced various method of studying human behaviors. Study methods range from naturalistic observations to experimental methods etc (Hergenhahn, 2005). The behavioral science is another science which is responsible for the behavior.

The question given in the assignment asks us to select a study method for evaluation of relationship between alcohol and violence. According to my understanding, naturalistic observation would be most appropriate here as we will get to know the instinctive response after consuming alcohol.

Concept of naturalistic observation method is the systematic investigation of animal or human behavior in natural environments and not in the laboratory. Psychologists try to discover the behavior of an individual and their natural environment. The advantage of this method is that the behavior of the subjects will be more natural, spontaneous and varied than in the laboratory.

Naturalistic observation does not interfere with the behavior at all; psychologists who use it must accept the people's behavior as it occurs. One problem of this method is the subject of the observer. By applying this method should make use of a team of expert observers to compare notes. Every situation is a natural occurrence that occurs only once. Thus, psychologists prefer not to make general statements based on information collected from naturalistic studies. After looking around and follow all the vital points, the actual behavior is the object of their discipline. The complexity of behavior can be problematic, naturalistic observation helps a lot to investigate since it gives you clues and ideas that would later be studied systematically (Green & Groff, 2003).
