Introduction

On the other hand, the changes in the nature of the work are common all the way through the developed world. Yet now those who did not have anything to do with the study of the cognitive features of the work required more powerful means and methods to deal with the role of the cognitive task analysis in the modern style of work (Chipman, Schraagen & Shalin, 1999).

Variety of strategies and interviews are used in the cognitive task analysis to detain the explanation of the understanding that is use by the experts for performing difficult tasks. Those tasks where performance has need for the use of the both automated (procedural, unconscious or strategic) and controlled (conceptual or conscious) knowledge to do the tasks that are very long and extended over the period of many days and hours are called difficult tasks. Cognitive task analysis is a very important approach. Cognitive task analysis is very helpful in the achievement of the complete and accurate details about the cognitive decisions and the cognitive processes. Cognitive task analysis is based on the outcomes about the objectives, conceptual knowledge, equipments, performance standards and procedural knowledge, which is used by the experts while they perform the task. Cognitive task analysis is mostly performed prior to the design of work, instruction, tests and job aids. After that the details are used for the development of the expert systems, test to officially state the task proficiency and training for getting hold of the difficult and new knowledge to abstain the performance of the goals (Chamot, O'Malley, 1994).
