CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

1.1 Introduction

All organisations have a department for managing the human resource. Apart from the degree of the resources of any organisation and its size, the business/organisation prospers and strives for its survival because of the performance and capabilities of its employees. In order to make the most of those performances and capabilities, certain activities are important in the organisations. An integral part of the human resource management process is the training of the employees.

1.2 Problem Statement

The Human Resource management is a very important part of any organization, and employee training is an integral part of the Human resource management of the organization. The most important thing in the process of training is the relationship between the trainer and the trainee.

1.3 Significance of the study

Training is one of the most crucial functions of the Human resource management of an organization. The need for training in an organization comes due a number of reasons, which would include the need for improving performance, progress in technology, or as part of professional development. Proper training can have a lot of impact on the working of the employees, and can help them in creating synergy for the organization. In this context, the relationship between the trainer and the trainee is very important, because the relationship between the learner and the trainer can lead the way for them to discover new dimensions for value creation in the work.

1.4 Purpose of the study - aims and objectives

This research will try to evaluate the effectiveness of the relationship between the trainer and the trainee. The main questions of the research, which the research will try to focus:

1. To identify the effectiveness of the approach used to training in TESCO

2. To evaluate the results of the training approach of TESCO for their employees

3. To evaluate the efficiency level of the employees after the training

4. To evaluate the relationship between the trainers and the learner in TESCO
